Website Planning

We believe that good project planning is key to achieving success. Planning allows all stake-holders to look at and understand the content, features and strategy required to achieve their intended goals.

We start by examining the content to be published and developing an understanding of how visitors will interact with it. Content may take a number of forms: blogs, news archives, PDFs, downloadables, videos, newsletters, image galleries and so on. Some clients ask us to write content while some prefer help with just the key messages and keywords for the purposes of Search Engine Optimisation.

A completed website project brief will be typed up for you to review. Not all web companies will spend the additional time preparing a written document but our experience is that this is essential for creating sound foundations and usually saves time in the long run. Your website brief provides you with the peace of mind of knowing that our team have fully understood your requirements.

Detailed wire-frames and sitemaps of the website are drawn up by the team. All content requirements are fully documented and checked at every stage with the client, our solutions will consider that content is likely to change and evolve over time.

Graphic Design

Usually our clients prefer to be fully involved during the design process and we actively encourage feedback, you will be shown design ideas and have plenty of opportunities to offer feedback. We will always document reasons for our design decisions, which will be led by the agreed project goals and our strong design approach.

Development and Implementation

Our web team is skilled in all areas of development and our procedures are both structured and robust. We provide links to the development servers to allow clients to review progress. All aspects of our work are fully tested on a variety of platforms, browsers and devices. Typically we modularise our testing in order to test as we develop, thus reducing risk.
