Search Engine Optimisation - is the activity of making sure that your website is written in such a way that search engines can find you. More recently the term SEO has also come to include marketing your website through search engines (pay per click, any online advertising etc). SEO is an something that some companies do not invest in at all whilst others spend huge resources in this area. Tesco are reported to spend £100,000 a month on SEO.
Standard SEO
All our websites are created with SEO in mind, all the things that need to be in place for SEO are included as standard.
- The code will be written to current XHTML standards using compliant CSS.
- We will ask you about your keywords and incorporate these into the website design appropriately. Often we tweak your supplied content, make sure that keywords are highlighted as headings and perhaps include keywords in the footer of all pages.

- Registration with top ten search engines including Google.

SEO Packages
If you require more support we can offer additional ongoing SEO packages:- We will complete comprehensive keywords research, to check that the keywords that you would like to be found for are the best for you. We will look at alternatives.
- Provide a personalize SEO campaign tailored to your website.
- Depending in the package selected we will provide monthly or quarterly SEO reports to let you know how the website is performing.
- We will maintain the website, and make regular changes and tweak to ensure it stays high up on the result pages.
Our fee will vary depending on how well coded the website is initially (not an issue for our existing clients!), the size of the website, the number of keywords, complexity of keywords and the frequency of report. Typically a 10 page website with 5-10 keywords/phrases would cost around £300 to set up and then £70/quarter/month to monitor and tweak.
SEO Training
If you really want to know what we know then we can provide a 2 hour face to face training session to help you optimise your own website. The SEO course will provide recommendations for your website and ongoing email and phone support for the first three months. Ideal for a small business wanting to take control of their website and to save some cash! Price £200
SEO Workshops
We arrange regular SEO workshops to help our customers to learn SEO yourself. These are currently only available to existing clients who have purchased websites from us.
