Our in-house expertise means that we can deliver quicker than agencies that outsource, and our vision for your online business won’t be diluted.  We do not advertise our services as the majority of our work comes via repeat business and referrals.

We are proud to be part of the Surrey business community and as well as organising The Big eCommerce Conference, we  run regular workshops for our customers and as part of the Continuing Professional Development for The Chartered Institute of Marketing.  We're members of the Surrey Chambers and have recently been nominated for the Toast of Surrey business award.

Meet The Team

Zoe

Zoe Brown – Managing Director (The Boss!)

Zoe has been working in IT since leaving university where she studied computing over 14 years ago. Her corporate background at Brittany Ferries and Thomson Reuters included time spent heading up a team of UX (User Experience) internet specialists.

Zoe is a regular business speaker at conferences including a recent Unilever eCommerce Conference, our own The BIG eCommerce Conference and is involved with delivering continued professional development programmes for the Chartered Institute of Marketing. This autumn she will be be speaking at the international WebIT Congress, Turkey and also the SellerDeck Conference sponsored by Paypal.

Special powers: user experience, search engine optimsation (SEO), project management, online marketing + writing enormous lists!

Chris

Chris Ashby – Director of Technology

Chris knows just about everything there is to know about online technology.  Which means all our clients’ online applications work – every time. Chris has over 15 years of professional programming experience including at a corporate level and a passion for new technology. He is committed to ensuring that b:web’s standards remain high and that our solutions are current and secure.

Chris spends most of his time turning our challenging specifications into highly polished eCommerce websites on a variety of platforms.  Chris is usually up to his eyes in API’s, frameworks and payment gateways but is always on the end of the phone for assistance with customer support.

Special powers:  eCommerce, Actinic, Opencart, Magento, LAMP, applications  + the dreaded coffee machine!

Naomi

Naomi Smith – Web Manager

Naomi has been a core member of the b:web team since 2006. She has grown from an initial admin role into fully fledged front end website developer and has most recently been promoted to Web Manager.

Naomi spends her time in client discussions planning projects and creating client briefs and because of her technical background she’s be perfectly positioned to make recommendations.

Christina

Christina Graham – Senior Web and Graphic Designer

Turning pixels into works-of-art is all in a day’s work for Christina. After gaining her degree in graphic design, Christina worked in the corporate world for three years before landing her dream job as a creative designer for b:web.

Christina spends her days creating highly creative digital designs and because Christina can hand-code HTML she has a unique insight into web development.  Her extensive experience in graphic design, best practices in web design and passion for all things creative will ensure your website or newsletter will look and feel just right.

Richard

Richard Jeffery – Web Developer

Having worked with various aspects of the web for several years Richard decided to pursue a career as a Web Developer and joined b:web in 2011 to do exactly that. He has experience with numerous different web applications including forums and content management systems ensuring they work exactly as they should and remain easy to use.

Richard is responsible for pixel perfect translations of our designs into CMS websites and training clients on how to use them. Richard’s keen eye for detail and approachable manner means that he’s a big hit with our clients.

Special powers: HTML, Ajax, CSS , jQuery, WordPress, eCommerce, web standards + sandwiches and/pizza.

Moira

Moira Lynch – Graphic Designer

Moira is a talented graphic designer for both web and print. With a degree in Psychology with Neuropsychology BSc where she studied advertising, layout and visual processing. Moira is as at  home with Flash, Illustrator, Indesign, Dreamweaver and Photoshop as she is with her trusty sketch book and enjoys mixing these mediums to create bespoke illustrations for our clients websites and banners.

b:web clients have benefited from Moira’s bespoke illustrations and passion for brand identity.

Special powers: brand identity, graphic design, website design, print design, stunning illustrations + in her spare time she likes to … draw!
