eCommerce website for Waterfront Scuba

Waterfront Scuba are the diving specialist for the UK.  Their Essex retail store provides every piece of diving equipment one could wish for along with friendly and knowledgeable advice from the team.  Most of the team are technical divers and many also teach diving at the local facilities.

We caught their eye when the Art of Living Cookshop website was featured in a recent publication. They had previously worked with a web agency on a revamp of their current website but were finding the process slow and tedious.  Following a quick tour of our eCommerce web design portfolio and a consultation: b:web were commissioned to redesign the store working on a new brief from scratch.

So here is the new home page design.

We have created very bold and confident design with some quirky elements like the divers and the water bubbles.  Ultimately this is a very big store with a hugh product range.  We rejigged the menu to use what we are calling the “mega menu” (large drop down menu with sections and sub sections).

We’ve included the option for the visitor to shop by brand and of course incorporated the blog and other social media channels like YouTube and twitter.

Here is the blog page

Before we build the website we will also mock up the product page, the category page, sub category page and blog post page – phew!  I will share these with you in a few days.
