The BIG Thank You

The BIG eCommerce Conference programmes

It has been 24 hour since The BIG eCommerce Conference closed yesterday and I am still on cloud nine. Our speakers provided some incredible content and the feedback from delegates has exceeded all our expectations.

I feel passionately that smaller eCommerce and retail businesses should see their size as an asset.  The bigger companies like amazon and John Lewis have huge budgets but the smaller companies have passion, proper product knowledge, customer knowledge and often deal with a customer from enquiry right through to after care and community. The last point was touched upon by many of the speakers – small businesses should be getting “out there” (on and off line) because community means a loyal customer base.

We are already planning the 2013 event, with a new website and booking system and in the over the next few weeks we will be releasing some video footage of the day courtesy of London Corporate Media.  In the meantime here are some snaps taken on the day from our conference event photographer Ian Olsson

and here is just some of the feedback that we’ve received.

“Just a quick note to say thank you for organising The BIG eCommerce Conference which we felt was a very interesting event.  The speakers were informative and engaging and I would recommend both them and The BIG eCommerce Conference to any SME business seeking to maximise their eCommerce return”

“That was an impressive day, Zoe I do not know how you pulled this off AND run bweb.  The speakers really know their stuff and the whole day was very polished.  Let me know the date for 2013″

“I just wanted to say thank you so much for yesterday.  It was a brilliant day and I got so much out of it – nice to know that we are doings some things right and it’s good to confirm what I thought we were doing wrong!! It was so well put together.”

“A very well organised and professionaly run day at The BIG eCommerce Confernce.  One to watch for 2013!”

I would like to say a BIG thank you to all of those that made this day happen: the speakers, the b:web team, the delegates and our lovely sponsors www.biglocalapp.com and www.yipiii.co.uk THANK YOU!
