Lobler and Delaney

Sara Delaney and Ellen Lobler are long standing clients of b:web. Over the past 6 years or so we’ve created 3 reincarnations of their website. The ladies are fashion stylists and avid bloggers of global fashion trends.  Our brief for their new website was to create a magazine style website that allows the blog and social features of their business to truly shine through.

Apart from keeping some of the original illustrations we have created a new brand for the business.  With a new logo, new set of fonts and an almost monochrome colour pallet our understated design allows the content to “pop” and engage. What I love so much about our work is that each project is completely bespoke, this solution looks vastly different from any of the others in our portfolio, yet ease of use is still at it’s core.

There are a number of bespoke page layouts that we have designed and built to best suit the content. And in all cases Sara and Ellen will be able able to update and manage every section with the magazine style automatically being applied.

The shop is a new requirements for this incarnation. The ladies are not quite sure what they will be selling yet or to whom, so to start them off we’ve simply implemented a paypal basket, should the shop be a huge success we’ll be able to migrate to a full eCommerce solution in-keeping with the same look and feel.

And finally the blog, Sara blogs regularly and is a big fan of affiliate links. We’ve taken the step to redesign many of the ads on the website to that they are more in-keeping with the overall brand.

As usual Sara and Ellen will benefit from a handover session and personal support from us directly whilst the website is being launched and post launch.  We expect the website to be live in a few weeks so do check back!
