The Brief

Call Candy is a new product range created by established distribution company active8.  A range includes over 600 (and growing) unique mobile device cases in characteristically quirky and attractive designs. Their innovative packaging solution becomes part of the product’s appeal since it’s clever design allows the purchaser to easily gift the item, personalise a message and deliver by post.

The company needed to raise their brand awareness amongst the general public as well as creating a website that would engage their potential trade customers.

Our brief was to create a web presence that would allow potential resellers to discover the quirky and fun brand, interact with the designs and make trade purchases in bulk. The eCommerce solution should also act as a portal for resellers without a web presence and needing to sell direct to the public via an affiliate link.

The Solution

We recommended two websites to create a perfect fit solution.  The a first, stand alone “brand identity” (or brochure) website with an integrated blog to showcase the products and attract stores wanting to stock the Call Candy products.  The brochure website would be complimented by an online shop, the second website, to allow trade customers to place orders.

The brochure website was developed to be fun for visitors while acting as a central resource for company news.  Each page was designed to deliver content with maximum impact.  Social media and an integrated blog allow Call Candy to us the website as the platform behind all of their online and off-line marketing activities.

The eCommerce website was developed using the Actinic platform with a bespoke design and build and we implemented a bespoke quick order form.
