The Brief

SnoozeShade have a range of products designed by Cara Sayer, that help babies to sleep on-the-go. The range includes breathable blackout covers for pushchairs, buggies, infant car seats and even travel cots. The company is just 3 years old and already boasts a range of 7 products that are being shipped worldwide and stocked by household names like John Lewis, Boots and Mothercare.

Our brief was to create an eCommerce solution that SnoozeShade could scale over multiple territories to achieve a global presence.  The three previous websites (a main brochure website, an eCommerce store and blog) needed to be migrated to the new website without loss of visibility on search engines.  The website not only needed to sell to consumers, but also sell the brand to retailers interested in becoming stockists.

The Solution

Bweb created a youthful, bright and quirky design for the eCommerce website. The product page is strong including all the elements that you’d expect from a brand, including multimedia content and deep integration with social media. Customer reviews, further information tabs and plenty of images help to give the visitor as much information as possible.  A thoughtful layout keeps the page uncluttered and easy on the eye.

Behind the scenes we have simplified the SnoozeShade work-flow as our eCommerce solution allows for a huge range of discount codes, voucher combinations, international shipping and multiple languages. We have included plenty of customer reporting tools and visitors can create accounts, view their order status and see their order history.

Zoe and the bweb team have done a sterling job on creating a whole new look and feel for my brand SnoozeShade. I asked them to create a website that befitted a global brand that reflected or business personality and I am so pleased with the results. We had a lot of demands for our website and it has to deliver on many fronts - usability for customers and our team was critical. Plus it has to be versatile and we needed to be able to make changes ourselves. Planning was crucial and it is a credit to bweb at how well they responded to our needs as and when they changed as the project developed. A big thanks from SnoozeShade.
