Epic Play is a brand new online business providing big brand play equipment direct to the consumer.  As a mum of 5 (and granny to 2) I was delighted to be working with Epic Play on a spanking new brand identity as well as developing a really thoughtful eCommerce website designed to communicate core brand values. We love to become fully involved with all communications and we’ll be helping owner Paul to set up social media and implement a good SEO/marketing strategy alongside the website launch.


The website is one of the first that b:web have designed at higher than the standard 1000 px wide. We feel really comfortable with this decision based on the fact that the website will be fully responsive which means that the user journey will look as fabulous on large monitors as it will on a mobile.


The project goal was to create a bespoke eCommerce solution for Epic Play which would provide their customers with a super easy to use website. We’ve considered the target market and every detail is designed to be helpful, the more helpful the website the more likely people are to engage with the brand. The user-centric design makes the customer feel very valued and in combination with deep social media integration will allow visitors to share the website easily with their friends – resulting in a lower cost per customer acquisition.

The product page has been cleverly designed to display all the relevant information, nothing important is hidden or tucked away. We have created additional badges which can be used on the products such as “New in” and “Sale”. Reviews are great for social proof, helpful to the buyer and can be particularly useful for SEO as they create fresh content for the page, therefore we have made these into an important feature. Notice on the product page how we have picked out key information that customer might need like recommended age and brand.
