Established for over 45 years, CMS Downs specialise in retailing carpets, flooring, and beds to domestic and commercial customers. They have stores located in Woking, Newbury and Winchester and supply throughout Surrey, Hampshire, Berkshire, and London.
CMS Downs had an existing website but it was very small and old-fashioned. They were not just looking for a new website though, but also a complete style revamp, so that both their online and offline presences would look airy, spacious, clean and modern. As well as a new website, they also needed new brochures and store signage, and we designed those for them as well.
The new website is an extensive online store but in a very easy-to-browse layout. There are multiple colour and style options within each item resulting in thousands of SKUs, but we built a Woocommerce solution capable of delivering everything necessary to provide a hassle-free, easy-to-use shopping experience.
b:web spent a lot of time with CMS Downs talking through various options, approaches, and design possibilities. The result is an effective, efficient website that caters perfectly for the target audience and has already proven itself in terms of generating both interest in the brand and new business.
The WordPress-based content management system has been developed by b:web to be as easy as possible to use as well as incredibly flexible, and this was backed up by a full training session, a video of the session to refer back to, and plenty of support both before and after go-live.
The result is a beautiful website that is flexible enough to grow with the company over the next few years.
