The Brief.
Grandstand are the UK’s leading provider of hospitality packages to motorsport events around the world including F1, MotoGP, Superbikes and Nascar.
They were looking for a partner to produce an extensive website which could showcase every event, providing all the various details of the itinerary, accommodation, hospitality experiences, and race tickets. This needed to be done in a straight-forward, attractive way so that the customer could easily find their way around the site and see their available options without being overwhelmed by the vast amount of information available.
The website needed to include calls-to-action, an easily-updatable news section, a messaging chat system, a live Instagram feed, and a comprehensive contact form. Most of their current web traffic was coming via mobile devices so the website also needed to work perfectly on mobiles as well as desktops and laptops.
The Solution.

We designed the client a website which takes full advantage of their extensive library of amazing motorsport images. All of the event category links are image-driven to really help convey the excitement of the events, and the country links use colour flags to enable fast navigation.
Whilst the website is packed full of information, it doesn’t feel like you’re being inundated with text because all of that content is hidden behind drop-down sections which are only revealed when you’re ready to view them. Calls-to-action are interspersed with key information and live Feefoo reviews, whilst “Upcoming Races” sections prompt the visitor to delve ever deeper into the site and encourage them to respond to offers. The crowning glory however (in our opinion!) is the menu system, which manages to be incredibly extensive but easy to use and visually appealing.
We are delighted to report that the site has been a huge success and bookings have increased significantly since the new website launched!
