The client had existing branding and a strong vision for the new website that they asked b:web to design and build for them. They were keen to have everything as bright and vibrant as possible, with bold, rounded shapes for maximum friendliness and visual appeal.
The key was to develop a simple-to-understand process for sign-up and purchase of tickets alongside content which would show how proceeds from the lottery would be used.
b:web designed and built the website in WordPress and WooCommerce with a Worldpay payment system.
With full-width colour images and bold colour titles and panels, we created a completely unique website. The four brand colours were utilised in different ways to highlight particular features and functionality, and the bespoke iconography we designed helps to explain the concept and process without needing a lot of text.
The e-commerce store allows visitors to buy tickets, make one-off or repeating donations, and buy gift vouchers quickly and easily. Additional site functionality includes a lottery-number checking feature, and automated lottery-result uploads.
