Web design for EPIC PLAY

EPIC Play, based in Surrey, is a thriving online retailer of children’s outdoor toys and games; everything from trampolines to electric ride-on cars. Although the owner, Paul, has years of experience in this sector, EPIC Play came to b:web as a start-up to build and launch the brand from scratch.

Paul selected b:web as his chosen solution provider as he was blown away by our approach and really liked the fact that we offered hands on ongoing marketing services.

The brief was to develop a fully flexible brand identity that could be transferred from digital, to print and to merchandise.  b:web were tasked with the design, development, launch and the day to day running of the marketing department which would include some cross over with customer services.

Over the three years that we have worked together we have held numerous enjoyable meetings at our web design studio in Surrey. EPIC Play are committed to excellence in customer service and excellent value and the b:web team set out to layer the EPIC brand across the customer journey, enticing customers back for more.

The logo and brand identity looks professional and includes a strong element of fun and movement.

The website was designed to showcase the products as accurately as possible. Large ticket items are a considered purchase and expensive to return, therefore we ensured that all product descriptions were comprehensive and accurate. The product pages feature comprehensive image galleries, descriptions and we have added tags to allow users to see the recommended age as well as the full manufacturer’s specification. Integration with the YotPo review platform further adds to the transparency of the EPIC retail experience.
